HOW DO I?
USE A LIBRARY COMPUTER

Crown Point Library and Winfield Branch Library offer computers for free use by the public. Each
computer has Internet access, the library catalog, Microsoft Office productivity software, and links to the
libraries' paid research tools (databases). Additional links may be available.
Users must have a library card
and PIN or may request a one time only guest pass. All users must abide by the libraries' Acceptable Use and Internet Safety
Policies.
The computers have time
limit restrictions and are
filtered. Time limits are 1 hour, with the option
to extend the time by 15 minutes if computers are available, and an additional hour after a minimum 5 minute
waiting period. Maximum daily time per user is 2 hours. Users may not reserve computers in advance, but
if all computers are in use, there is a waiting list.
Attention computer
users: Beginning March 18,2013 we will no longer provide free
printing.
Printing from library computers requires
users to have credit on their library card accounts. Money can be added to accounts at the Circulation
Desk. The fee is $.10 per page.

Free WiFi is available at both libraries.
